Hand-built in Eastern Kentucky, every Waterdog canoe is designed with the customer, not a catalog, in mind. From wood selection and hull profile to custom printed fiberglass interiors and exteriors, no two Waterdog canoes are ever the same.

Our craftsmanship services
Our aim is to bring your perfect canoe to life. From initial design to material selection and construction, we will work closely with you. The design process starts with selecting the size and profile of the canoe. Next we work with you to select choice of hardwood for the decks, yoke, thwart(s) and seats. Last, we work with you to develop the graphic designs you want on your canoe. Eventually, there might be a web-based tool to facilitate this, but, for now, it's a one-on-one conversation.
